When an event is cancelled, the current CIVL policy is to reimburse the sanction fee to the organisers, minus the administrative fee of €50. Somehow, it is not written in Section 7 Common 12.4. By Bureau decision, it  now reads:

‘The sanction fee for any 2nd category event is the equivalent of 1.5 entry fees (the pilot-participation fee, inclusive of such compulsory “extras” such as lift passes, etc., but exclusive of accommodation). The sanction fee is payable in euros and shall be a minimum of €50.  If the event is cancelled,  the sanction fee is reimbursed to the organisers, less an administrative fee of €50. ​’
