Drone Racing World Cup
Edition 2024
The Drone Racing World Cup concerns the F9U class (Drone Racing). The World Cup rules are defined in Chapter A of the Volume F9 Drone Sport, and the F9U class rules are defined in Chapter C.
Open International World Cup competitions are FAI second category events based on individual participation (no national team representing a NAC). Any person holding a valid FAI Sporting Licence or FAI Drone Permission can be eligible for the Drone Racing World Cup ranking.
2 Drone Racing World Cup competitions may be organized every year for any country. For a country which extends over more than three time zones, one World Cup competition may be organised within each time zone of the country with a maximum of four competitions for the country concerned.

14 Drone Racing World Cup competitions from 13 different countries were registered on the FAI Calendar for the year 2024. Two of them had been finally postponed to 2025: ASFC F9U World Chongqiong (China) planned October 24 to 27, 2024 and Riyadh Drone Racing World Cup (Saudi Arabia) planned November 14 to 16, 2024 which had been postponed to January 23 to 25, 2025.
So, there had been finally 12 competitions from 11 countries taken into account for the 2024 World Cup ranking.
The detailed results and FAI Jury President report for each competition my be downloaded in the 'DOCUMENTS' section at the bottom on the present webpage.
The following Drone Racing World Cup ranking takes into account the 12 competitions held before the 15th October. The World Cup score of each competitor is the sum of his/her best three competition results (numbers of points). In case a competitor scored in two competitions held in the same contry, only his/her best result for that country could be considered.
